Hellgate Installation Problem

Sorry to bring up a quite dead thread (hey, that rhymed), but I was reading this and does this mean it's possible to play Hellgate Revival with a nocd/fixed EXE? I read that it's not allowed to post links to them, but I have the actual cd with the serial and everything, and the cd is pretty much FUBAR. I can play Revival already, but it would be nice to not have my dvd drive sound like it was going to explode every time I opened the game.
